Dimensional Lumber
Our Stock Grade isAbove Average
Dimensional lumber is put up in 500LF lots that are all 8 to 16′, with a few cutbacks to 6′. The stock is above average grade and is mostly clear on 1 face and 2 edges. We stock Retail Packs that are trimmed to the whole foot, both odd and even lengths, which are perfect for retail sales. Our Random Length Packs are mostly whole foot stock, but may contain a percentage of material that is slightly over or slightly under length— perfect for contractor lumber yards or woodworking shops. We can run other nominal sizes in Poplar for you as part of a custom stock program.

Retail Lumber Yards
We can also create a dimensional lumber program tailored to your customers’ needs to help you differentiate yourself from competitors and dominate local markets. Some examples of customized programs are:
- Poplar packs in 3/4 x 3-1/2″ through 3/4 x 11-1/4″
- Other hardwood species processed as ordered
- Lengths run from 6’ to 16’, and are double end trimmed to whole foot.
- The material is mostly clear 1 face and 2 edges.
- Bundle sizes of 250LF, 500LF or 1000 LF of each size.
- Each bundle is clearly tagged showing size, species, and your UPC code.
- Piece tallies are attached to the bundles in the packing slip.
- Each pile is shrink-wrapped for protection.
- Options for sanding to 150 grit available on both faces and edges.
- Priming and finishing options are also available.
Contractor Lumber Yards
- In addition to stock packs as described above, hardwoods can be put up specifically for the needs of local contractors and builders.
- Custom S4S products can be included in stock program to enhance stock moulding selection.
- Packs can be created by size and species to accommodate contractor customer base and storage systems.
- Hold for release programs are available for quick stock replacement,
- Tropical dimension can be included for exterior trim requirements, exterior priming available with water or solvent (alkyd/oil) based primers.
- Because many contractors remanufacture the product on the jobsite, S4S hardwoods can be produced as product of the grade with minimal trimming.
- Options for sanding to 150 grit available on both faces and edges.
- Priming and finishing options are also available.

- Dimension hardwoods can be put up in any species or quantity as random length, product of the grade
- Tallied by the moulder meter
